Made: October 2006 Medium: Pen and Marker This is the congratulations shot I drew for my tenth page without the crappy sharpie-lettering in it. I LOVE how well this turned out. I can't say much else. :)
Made: August 2006 Medium: Pencil I don't oten draw Makera, so I did. I don't often fill a sketch page, so I did. I don't often draw city or archetechtural scenes, so I ... kinda did.... but then I stylized it a bit as it was driving me mad.
Made: August 2006 Medium: Pencil Eddy an Matt in their more hair-metal styled outfits, ready to rock and roll! Matt's hair is normally black, but I liked the line art too much to tone it in, so I left it. Maybe he's got white hair spray or something...
Made: August 2006 Medium: Pencil You're not going to understand this pick for a long time.... and you may not even after you read that chunk of the comic. I'll try to tread that storyline lightly and crisply.
Made: ?? 2006 Medium: Pencil I admit it. I was just trying to draw Mi Shen looking sexy. It's pretty much just for fanservice. Heh. Oh, and my fetish for black turtlenecks... and lots of belts. The belts is probably from my love of renn faire and RPGs.
Made: August 2006 Medium: Pencil I wanted to draw a peice of see-through over clothing... and it turned into plaid, as people who've known this comic before know that Mi ends up in plaid or striped clothing alot... And I I love how the face and hair turned out, and the motion.
Made: August 2006 Medium: Pencil I'm not sure what gave me the idea exactly, but I was trying for a more flattened, graphic style for this one. Never got to penning it, and drew some of the other characters in this style too, but Ki came out best, and was the first. You may have noticed a large jump in time here. It's simply that I'm only posting things I feel are relavent, not too spoiling, and well enough drawn. There's lots more you'll never see in my sketchbook.
Made: early 2006 Medium: pencil I was in a sort of group-drawing vibe for a while there. This is just depicting a bit of the tensions between some characters, but mainly just a quickly drawn everyone-head-shot Poster-like thing.
Made: ?? 2005 Medium: Pencil Just like the female version, this drawing shows the main male characters and their compared heights, at least, towards the beginning of the comic. Some change as the comic progresses, mainly corqren, as he's still young. Made the same day as the below drawing, also.
Made: ?? 2005 Medium: Pencil I've tried several times to make some nice height-relationship drawings, but this was the first to actually come out looking resonably good. This is just a drawing of all the major female characters, and their compared heights.
Made: ?? 2005 Medium: Pencil There's some interesting backstory to Yu and Eddy that I'd rather not spoil for everyone just now. But this picture is a kind of glimpse to that.
Made: Fall 2005 Medium: Monoprint Monoprint works best with more vibrant colors... and I've several times toyed with color-relationships between these three characters since they were invented as a sort of team... they're much less super-heroy now, but the colors still have meanings.
